Senior Healthcare Assistant

Night Shifts

33 hours per week

Hourly Rate: £14

Please note that our client does not offer Tier 2 sponsorship

We are looking for a compassionate and dedicated Senior Healthcare Assistant to join our client's team and provide high-quality care to residents. This role is available for night shifts and offers a competitive salary of £14 per hour

Our client provides specialist care to older adults with dementia and mental health conditions; The Nursing Home is set in a beautiful grade 2 listed home, surrounded by woodland.

Qualifications

Level 3 in Health and Social Care or above
Minimum of 2 years' experience working as a Senior Care Assistant in a care home setting
Ability to work effectively in a team and independently
Compassionate and empathetic nature with a genuine interest in the well-being of others

As a Senior Care Assistant, your day-to-day responsibilities will involve:

Providing person-centered care to residents in line with their individual care plans

Assisting with daily activities such as personal care, meal preparation, and medication management
Monitoring and recording residents' health and well-being
Supporting and mentoring junior care staff
Building positive relationships with residents, families, and the wider care team
