Healthcare Assistant

£11.40 per hour

36 hours per week

Mixed Shifts - includes days, nights and sleep-ins

Please note that our client DOES NOT offer Tier 2 sponsorship

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Healthcare Assistant to join our client's healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing support and high-quality personal care to residents with Learning Disabilities and Autism.

Qualifications:

NVQ Level 2 or Level 3 in Health and Social Care
Experience working with individuals with learning disabilities and autism
Compassionate and empathetic nature
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions accurately

Responsibilities:

Assisting patients with personal care such as bathing, grooming, and dressing
Supporting patients with mobility and activities of daily living
Monitoring and recording vital signs
Assisting healthcare professionals with medical procedures
Providing emotional support and companionship to patients
Ensuring the cleanliness and tidiness of patient areas
Adhering to all health and safety standards
