General Practitioner (GP) in Meath Are you a GP that wants to relocate and work in Meath?

Eligibility Criteria:

Must be eligible for registration with the Irish Medical Council on the General or Specialist Division.

If on the General Division, must have a minimum of 3+ years working in a primary care setting treating patients of all ages.

Roles and Responsibilities:

Patient Care: Provide comprehensive medical care to patients of all ages, including diagnosis, treatment, and management of various health conditions.

Clinical Duties: Perform minor surgical procedures, wound care, and prescribe medications and treatments according to best practices and guidelines.

Community Engagement: Participate in health promotion and disease prevention activities, and educate patients and families on health management and preventative care.

Collaborative Care: Work closely with other healthcare professionals within the clinic to ensure high-quality patient care, including referrals and coordination of multidisciplinary care.

Professional Development: Stay updated with medical advancements, participate in ongoing professional development and training, and contribute to the continuous improvement of clinic practices.

Emergency Care: Provide emergency care and management for acute medical conditions, stabilizing patients and arranging for further care as necessary.
