Job Advert Role Description

If you are looking to join the Priory family and work with a multidisciplinary team who are highly experienced in supporting private patients in the most beautiful nine-bed dedicated unit, then look no further. We invite an experienced Consultant Psychiatrist to join our team, offering the chance to build and manage a thriving private practice across outpatient and inpatient services. This role is integral to maintaining our high standards of care and providing expert guidance to our dedicated and experienced nursing, medical and therapy colleagues.

Role Responsibilities:
- Assess and treat private patients within scope of practice.
- Oversee the care of outpatients and inpatients within your specialty.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including medical, nursing, psychologists and other therapy colleagues
- Engage in quality improvement and governance activities.
- Expand your practice in alignment with The Priory Ticehurst's prestigious reputation.
- Participation in on-call rotations for the nine-bedded private unit
- Network with professional colleagues and referral sources.
- Maintain professional development and meet Revalidation requirements.
Candidate Profile:
- GMC registration with relevant specialist accreditation
- A strong understanding of Clinical Governance and regulatory frameworks.
- Successful completion of a DBS check, funded by The Priory Hospital Ticehurst
- No existing private practice required, this is a great opportunity to start your journey into private practice
