The Priory Hospital, Woking provides private acute mental health and addiction services (inpatients and day patients), and extensive private outpatient clinics.
About the Role
Priory Hospital Woking are seeking an consultant psychiatrist for private acute general psychiatry and addiction patients. The role of a visiting consultant offers you the opportunity to build a private outpatient practice, alongside a private inpatient practice. You will be expected to adhere to Priory Group standards and policies throughout your practice.
'All roles will be subject to a successful disclosure at an appropriate level from the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS). Priory Group will cover the cost of a DBS check for all successful applicants.'
You will be required to provide support and advise nursing staff and hospital management on clinical issues. The role holder will be working in close liaison with other consultant teams and services within the Division as well as having continuing responsibility for the care of patients. You will have an excellent knowledge of Clinical Governance and regulatory requirements and will be qualified with full registration with GMC, as well as having experience working in a substance misuse setting and within a multidisciplinary team
