Senior Healthcare Assistant

Day Shifts - 44 hours per week

Night Shifts - 33 hours per week

Hourly Rate: £13.50

Please note that our client does not offer Tier 2 sponsorship

As a Senior Healthcare Assistant you will work closely with the care team to provide high-quality care and support to residents. This role requires a strong understanding of healthcare practices and a commitment to delivering excellent patient care.

Our client provides residential care to older adults requiring personal and dementia care; The Care Home is set amongst beautiful woodland and has high quality living spaces from a library and its own hairdressing salon!

Qualifications

Level 3 in Health and Social Care or above
Minimum of 2 years' experience working as a Senior Care Assistant in a care home setting
Ability to work effectively in a team and independently
Compassionate and empathetic nature with a genuine interest in the well-being of others

As a Senior Care Assistant, your day-to-day responsibilities will involve:

Providing person-centered care to residents in line with their individual care plans

Assisting with daily activities such as personal care, meal preparation, and medication management
Monitoring and recording residents' health and well-being
Supporting and mentoring junior care staff
Building positive relationships with residents, families, and the wider care team
