Staff Grade Speech and Language Therapist - Adult Services

TTM Healthcare Solutions are seeking a Staff Grade Speech and Language Therapist on behalf of a voluntary organization serving over 1,700 people with intellectual disabilities in Dublin, with services across North, North-East, and Southern regions. Our client focuses on empowering individuals to live full lives in their communities.

Key Responsibilities:

* Develop and deliver Speech and Language Therapy services to adults with intellectual disabilities.

* Work under the guidance of the SLT Manager and Senior SLTs.

* Collaborate closely with multi-disciplinary clinical and frontline colleagues.

Essential Criteria:

Candidates must possess the following qualifications:

* Educational Qualifications :

* B. Sc in Clinical Speech and Language Studies from University of Dublin/NUIG/UCC

* BA (Moderatorship) in Remedial Linguistics from the University of Dublin

* M.Sc in Speech & Language Therapy (Professional Qualification) from the University of Limerick

* Licentiateship from the College of Speech Therapists

* Any validated Speech & Language qualification equivalent to the above

* Registration : Must be registered with CORU.

* Experience :

* Experience (including student placements) working with people with intellectual disabilities.

* Experience working as part of a multi-disciplinary team to support families and staff.

Desirable Criteria:

* Qualifications in dysphagia (undergraduate or postgraduate).

* Certification in Lámh, Intensive Interaction.

* Full, clean driver's license and access to a car.
