Residential Home Manager (Elderly care)

Salary: Up to £55,000

40 hours per week

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Registered Manager for our client's elderly residential care home. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing care homes, particularly in providing support for residents with dementia. This role requires a compassionate and dedicated individual with excellent leadership skills and a thorough understanding of CQC regulations.

Qualifications

NVQ Level 5 in Health and Social Care (Management) or equivalent
Previous experience as a Home Manager within the elderly residential care sector
Strong understanding and experience of working within CQC regulations
Ability to lead and manage a diverse team of care professionals
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Responsibilities

Oversee the day-to-day operations of the residential facility
Ensure the delivery of high-quality care and support to residents
Lead and motivate a team of care staff to deliver person-centered care
Develop and implement care plans tailored to the individual needs of each resident
Maintain compliance with CQC standards and regulations
Manage the budget and resources effectively to support the provision of care
Build and maintain positive relationships with residents, families, and external stakeholders
