Senior Radiographer

Job Description: A leading healthcare facility in County Kerry is currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Senior Radiographer to join its Diagnostic Imaging team on a full-time, permanent basis. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional radiography services across various modalities, with a particular focus on the Cardiac Angiography Suite.

Key Responsibilities:

* Perform a wide range of diagnostic radiography procedures, including those within the Cardiac Angiography Suite.

* Administer and manage PACS (Picture Archiving and Communication System).

* Assist in the administration of the Electronic Cardiology Information Management System (ECIMS).

* Participate in the out-of-hours on-call service as required.

* Provide excellent customer service to patients and colleagues.

* Work effectively both independently and as part of a team, demonstrating strong organisational skills.

* Meet strict deadlines in a fast-paced clinical environment.

Qualifications & Experience:

* Education: BSc in Diagnostic Radiography or equivalent.

* Registration: CORU registration is mandatory.

* Experience:

* Experience across various radiography modalities.

* Experience in a Cardiac Angiography Suite is highly desirable.

* Experience in PACS administration is advantageous.

* Familiarity with Electronic Cardiology Information Management Systems is a strong advantage.

* Skills:

* Proficiency in IT and digital systems.

* Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to manage workload and meet deadlines.

* Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

* Demonstrated ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
