Healthcare Assistant (weekend)

24 hours per week - Saturday & Sunday day shifts.

Hourly rate: £12.40 - £13

Shift times: 07:30 - 20:30

Please note that our client does not offer Tier 2 sponsorship

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Healthcare Assistant to join our client's team on Saturdays and Sundays. The ideal candidate will have experience providing quality care for elderly individuals, including those with dementia, and will ideally hold an NVQ Level 2 and/or 3 qualification in Health and Social Care or willing to work towards

Qualifications

NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care or willing to work towards.
Proven experience in elderly care and/or dementia care
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care
Ability to work effectively in a team setting

Responsibilities

Provide personal care and support to elderly residents
Assist with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, and meal preparation
Engage in meaningful and stimulating activities with residents
Monitor and report changes in residents' physical and emotional well-being
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care for residents
