We're looking for a Lead Pharmacy Technician to join our Pharmacy Team at the London Bridge Hospital, currently rated "Outstanding" by the CQC.
London Bridge Hospital is one of the UK's largest private healthcare hospitals specialising in complex and acute care. Spread over three main buildings and five outpatient centres, it is home to a number of specialist units and teams across a wide range of disciplines including orthopaedic, spinal, digestive diseases, liver, hepatobiliary, renal, cardiothoracic, critical care, cancer and transplant services.
The Lead Pharmacy Technician is a key role that provides leadership and operational management for the core pharmacy operational services. In collaboration with the Pharmacy Leadership team, this role will develop and implement service development strategies to ensure the delivery of a high quality, innovative pharmacy service which consistently meets the needs of all service users.
The successful post-holder will manage workforce planning, operational services and training and development of the technical team. They will also be responsible for analysing relevant Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), audit and financial results and preparing reports.

What you'll bring:
- Registered a Pharmacy Technician with General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC)
- Pharmacy NVQ Level 3 plus accredited underpinning knowledge (BTEC in Pharmaceutical Science or equivalent) or equivalent
- Significant post qualification experience relevant to hospital pharmacy practice
- Experience of training, supervising and managing staff
- Knowledge of Omnicell, Meditech and Datix incident reporting system (desirable)
- Knowledge of medicines management systems at ward level and requirements of ACPT (desirable)
