London, The Harley Street Clinic
Full time, 37.5 hours per week
Shift times: 7.5 hour shifts between 08:00 and 20:00. On-Call requirements 1 in 3/4 weeks currently which includes weekends

We're looking for a Senior Radiographer to join our Cardiac team at The Harley Street Clinic, currently rated "Outstanding" by the CQC.
At the Harley Street Clinic, our specialist cardiac centre offers a vast range of treatment options, from screening and diagnosis to complex cardiac surgery and cardiology interventions, using some of the most pioneering treatment options. As a Senior Radiographer in Cath Labs, you'll provide a high level of customer-focussed to our patients and service users through high quality diagnostic radiography
Duties & responsibilities:
- Demonstrate highly developed knowledge and skills in a broad range of cardiology, radiology and interventional vascular investigations
- Demonstrate a sound knowledge of Radiation Protection and safety of all staff and patients, as part of Ionising Radiation Regulations, Health and Safety at Work Act, IR(ME)R and COSHH Regulations compliance;
- Act as a resource within the Cardiac Radiography service to provide professional expertise in the environment of the Cardiac Catheter Lab Department.
- Perform a wide range of standard and complex procedures on adults, as requested by the clinician, in all areas of Cardiac and Vascular Radiography.
- Perform all procedures at independent practitioner level and confidently support any clinical decision making on which the patient's management is based.
- Prepare equipment ensuring daily checks are carried out on all radiology equipment used in the cardiology department, carrying out day to day troubleshooting.
- Participate in the departments out of hours on call rota.
What you'll bring:
- HCPC registration
- Extensive Cath Lab experience gained post-graduation as a HCPC registered Radiographer
- High level of understanding with regards to clinical governance and protocols relating to Cath Labs
- Experience within a Interventional Radiology suite desirable
- Experience using Phillips or/or Siemens systems desirable
