Job Title: Practice Manager
Location: The Arm Clinic, The Wilmslow Hospital
Full time: 37.5 hours per week
Permanent
Salary: Up to £41,000 Depending on the experience

We're looking for a Practice Manager to join The Arm Clinic team based at The Wilmslow Hospital.

The Practice Manager will support the day to day business operations of the individual Consultants Practice/Medical Practice, and ensure that all patients under the care of the practice are supported throughout their end to end patient journey.

The role holder will actively establish, maintain and strengthen relationships for the practice and its customers (patients, consultants and clients) championing best practice at all times.

What you'll do:
  • Provide support to the consultants practice. This includes, booking patient appointments, recording of accurate patient information and supporting with clinic administration.
  • Provide clear and concise communication to all relevant parties involved in the patients pathway including consultant and patient
  • Oversee practice operations
  • Liaise with insurance companies and third parties
  • Liaise with the medical records department ensuring they receive weekly records
  • Responsible for calendar management of the consultants diary, manage room bookings, clinic slots and theatre bookings
  • Effectively manage and support patient concerns and escalate to Consultant and General Manager as and when required
  • Attend practice meetings with the team out of work hours
What you'll bring:
  • Previous experience working in healthcare
  • Previous experience using Healthcode & Bupa Online
  • Detailed knowledge on procedure codes, CCSD billing and theatre booking forms
  • Detailed knowledge and experience of all processes within practice management
  • Detailed knowledge and experience of billing and debt collection for services provided
  • Ability to gain a detailed knowledge of practice manager or affiliated systems
  • Good IT skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Understand basic medical terminology
