Job Description
The post holder will be required to provide a comprehensive administrative support to the Children's Specialist Nursing (CSN) Team. The post holder will undertake a wide range of administrative tasks, including having personal responsibility for a number of delegated tasks.
 To work unsupervised, adhering to operational procedures and established practice. Work on own initiative to prioritise administrative tasks to ensure an effective and efficient running of the CSN teams.
To be responsible for the Administrators and Administration Assistant

Qualifications and Training
Essential criteria
- NVQ level 4 in Business Studies or Administration or equivalent knowledge or experience.
- RSAIII (or equivalent)
- Educated to G.C.S.E. or equivalent in English and Maths
Experience and Knowledge
Essential criteria
- Microsoft Office software packages, to include Outlook, Word and Excel
- Advanced level knowledge of IT systems and databases e.g. SystmOne
- Experience of managing diaries
- Excellent time management and prioritisation skills
Desirable criteria
- Experienced Administrator at Senior Level
Skills and Abilities
Essential criteria
- Good written communication skills with a high standard of accuracy
- Able to work on a variety of tasks with deadlines at any one time with minimum of supervision
- Good verbal communication skills including the ability to persuade, motivate and influence others
- Experience of arranging meetings, preparing agendas and taking minutes
- Experience of line managing staff

Essential criteria
- Hold a full, valid, UK driving licence and have access to a car to use for business purposes (unless you have a disability as defined by the Equality Act 2010)
- Experience of working within the NHS
