Job Description

Main duties of the job
Liaise with multi-professional staff to plan and design clinical audit projects working as p art of MRI/CSS/MREH/UDHM Clinical Audit Team.
Advise and assist relevant multi-professional staff to define clinical audit standards and to conduct audit activity as per Trust policy
Review and respond to clinical audit project proposals to establish standards and methodology that ensures effective clinical audit project design
Design clinical audit data collection forms and collect data
Collate and analyse data for clinical audit projects using spreadsheets and databases
Write reports and presentations for clinical audit projects and assist clinical audit leads by reviewing and editing clinical audit reports
Manage clinical audit project activity in order to meet deadlines
Work closely using the Trust's clinical audit database to maintain up to date information on clinical audit activity
Produce regular reports of clinical audit activity
Keep abreast of national developments and guidance pertaining to healthcare and clinical audit, particularly national clinical audit
Facilitate and attend meetings pertinent to clinical audit
Work collaboratively with other staff within Clinical Governance / Effectiveness teams and with other relevant departments
Participate in providing clinical audit training sessions for multidisciplinary staff.
Ensure confidentiality and data security is maintained at all times in accordance with Caldicott guidelines, the Data Protection Act and Trust policy
