Spire Bushey Hospital are looking for a motivated and driven Hospital Porter to join their established team. This is an opportunity for someone who is flexible to accommodate a variety of working hours on a rota basis and happy to be in a hands on role dealing with multiple tasks within the hospital.

Duties and responsibilities

• To assist and direct patients and visitors around the hospital in a welcoming, courteous and professional manner
• Assist with the transportation of patients around the hospital
• Transport Pathology samples as directed by medical personnel
• Retrieve medical notes as required for patients admission or post discharge enquiries
• Assist in the maintenance of security of the hospital and its grounds
• Carry out the removal of waste in line with Spire Healthcare's policy and procedures.

Who we're looking for

• A team player who enjoys working in a fast paced environment.
• Full UK Driving License is essential - you may be required to drive the company vehicle to hospitals in and around the local area
• Customer service - the ability to interact with patients in a polite and courteous manner
• Organisation Skills - prioritising tasks and a flexible approach is an essential part of the role
