Team Leader - Spire Eye Centre | Administration | Customer Service | Sutton Coldfield | Full Time, Permanent | £24,131 + Excellent Benefits
Spire Little Aston Hospital are looking for an experienced and driven team leader to join our established team. Should you have a secretarial/administrative background dealing with customers face-to-face and via telephone, this could be the role for you!
Duties and responsibilities:
Based at our purpose built eye centre you will be the face of the department, leading a team of 4 to provide a first class service to all of our patients. You will be a hands on team leader responsible for ensuring we provide first class customer care, from initial enquiry/booking through to after care.
This will be an interesting and varied role as you get to know the specialist care we provide. You will work with the Consultants and Eye Centre Clinical team to effectively manage the opening of additional clinics to support patient volume growth. Be responsible for the team leadership and day-to-day supervision of the eye centre reception and associated administration areas. Plan and participate in a rota that ensures adequate staffing levels to maintain business needs ensuring appropriate cover for telephones and clinics is maintained at all times.
To be successful in post, you should be well versed in rota management, staff management and development, delivery of first class customer service. You will need to have excellent people skills and be confident in leading a team.

- A personable individual with the ability to work on own initiative as well as part of a team
- Good basic PC skills, including Word, Excel and Outlook
- Excellent customer service skills
- High degree of accuracy in administration
- Great communication skills at all levels
- Experience in a customer service environment
- Experience with information management systems
