Salary: £50k per annum

Location: Southampton, Hampshire

Qualification: RGN/RMN           

Shift pattern: 42 hours | Supernumerary and Clinical shifts

Compass Associates are proud to be working in partnership with an extraordinary client to recruit for a Clinical Deputy Manager for their beautiful and well-performing home in Southampton. This client prides themselves on providing outstanding care and service to all service users and is considered one of the leading experts in elderly care, having won numerous awards over recent years.

As Deputy Manager for this beautiful care home, you'll be tasked with ensuring you maintain the very best delivery of care that this provider is known for. Working closely with a highly supportive Home Manager and taking on leadership duties in their absence, you can expect to assist with everything from audits, medication, care plans, rotas, and clinical tasks. You will help to inspire a team to make sure they help every resident enjoy the best possible quality of life. That means leading by example and monitoring care standards.

The Candidate

If you are a passionate individual who is adaptable, eager to work and capable of guiding a team in providing a variety of elderly-centred care, then this could be the job for you. You will need to be nurse qualified (RGN/RMN) as well as compassionate, resilient, and engaging. You will be determined to provide quality care in an energetic environment whilst successfully leading colleagues.

Requirements

RGN/RN/RMN

Nursing Home experience desired

Deputy Management experience preferred

Valid NMC Pin (no restrictions)

A genuine passion for elderly care       

Good communication skills

This role is located near Southampton and is easily commutable from Hedge End, Portsmouth, Fareham, Havant, Whiteley, Romsey, Winchester, Petersfield, Chichester and other surrounding areas.
