Job Description
Barchester's South division have created an exciting internal developmental opportunity to join our talented team of Operational Trainers. We will support you through a training programme to develop knowledge, skills, and competencies relating to the role of Operational Trainer.

NEED TO HAVE:
• Diploma level 3 in Health & Social Care
• Working knowledge of legislative requirements within the care industry
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Zoom
• Motivation to complete training to become an independent, effective, and motivational Operational Trainer
• Full UK driving licence
NEED TO DO:
• Complete training under the guidance of an experienced Operational Trainer, including observing and delivering training courses
• Attend external train the trainer courses
• Ensure homes meet all induction and refresher mandatory and statutory training standards
• Plan and publish training calendars
• Observe workplace practice to ensure each home/hospital is delivering a good quality of care
• Provide accurate reports to General Managers, Regional Directors, and Training and Compliance managers
• Obtain a recognised training qualification
• Support new employees through their induction period
• Promote learning and development opportunities to new and existing staff
