We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Pharmacist to join our Staffing Bank. This role will support our Pharmacy team located in our Spire London East Hospital

Spire London East Hospital (Formerly Spire Roding) is located in Redbridge, on the borders of East London and Essex. We offer comprehensive private hospital services, ranging from outpatient clinics and physiotherapy to surgery and diagnostic facilities. The hospital has 24 inpatient beds and 16 day case rooms called 'pods'. Facilities include four operating theatres, an endoscopy suite, 2 extended recovery units, pharmacy and radiology.

Duties and responsibilities:

• The provision of an exemplary pharmacy service, in accordance with current legislation, clinical requirements and accepted professional and ethical standards
• The provision of advice and support to consultants, other clinicians and patients whilst ensuring the safe, appropriate and cost-effective use of medicines.
• To advise on the safe management of medicines to the hospital and it's departments, whilst staying compliant with current legislation and professional standards
• Promoting a patient focused multidisciplinary approach to the delivery of an efficient, high quality healthcare service.

Who we're looking for:

• Be GPHC registered - your registration should not have any restrictions or conditions
• Ideally have a minimum of 6 months experience in a Pharmacist role - hospital experience is highly desired but community will be considered.
• Flexibility for weekday availability
• Communication/organised/role model/showcase excellent patient care etc.
