Therapist - Drug and Substance Misuse Service

£27,500 - £29,500 (Dependant on Experience)      

Remit      

Compass Associates are excited to be working with a well-known UK provider of drug and substance misuse services to recruit for a full-time permanent Therapist.

You would be based at their service in Blackpool, improving clients whose health and wellbeing have been negatively impacted by class A drugs. Patients are referred to the service through the local authorities including probation staff, the police and housing agencies. The right candidate will deliver effective therapeutic interventions to service users and manage a caseload of clients with complex needs. Your role will involve exercising professional integrity and sound clinical decisions, supporting client care plans, and ensuring clients are comfortable and empowered to talk through their issues.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced therapist who has drug and substance misuse experience as you'd be able to apply your clinical experience, skills and knowledge as well as be involved in developing and improving the lives of the individuals using the service.      

Essential criteria:

Experience treating individuals with drug and substance issues

BACP (Level 4) registered

Interview Process

Panel interview with the service's psychotherapist and two other interviewers.
