We are delighted to be recruiting for a Senior MSK Physiotherapist to join our physiotherapy department within a private hospital with an excellent reputation in Portsmouth. The hospital has ample free parking directly outside the hospital. This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate Senior MSK Physiotherapist to join a leading, forward-thinking private hospital. The hospital performs a wide range of surgery including orthopaedics and the role of Senior MSK Physiotherapist will be working both in outpatients and on the ward to rehabilitate patients and prepare for discharge.

About the role:

You will be working as a Senior MSK Physiotherapist and will be responsible for:

• Work alongside GPS's and Consultant referrals as well as self-referrals
• Working within outpatient and inpatient departments to treat acute MSK injuries and post-op orthopaedic rehabilitation
• Assessing, diagnosing and providing treatment for patients while explaining
• To act as a Senior Physiotherapy resource for the multi-disciplinary team
• Empathetically and sensitively maintaining confidentiality
• Communicating effectively with the team and patients
• A flexible and positive attitude
• Ability to make decisions and use your initiative

Who we're looking for;

• Eligibility to live and work in the UK
• At least 5 years MSK experience
• Degree (BSc Hons in Physiotherapy) or equivalent
• Experience of assessing, diagnosing and treating a range of patients/cases
• Excellent understanding of CSP Standards of Physiotherapy Practice and Rules of Professional Conduct
• Willingness to learn and grow in the role

Person Specification: All applicants for the role of Senior MSK Physiotherapist must have a degree in Physiotherapy or equivalent and full eligibility to live and work in the UK. At least 3 years post graduate clinical MSK experience is essential.
