About the service: A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Radiographer to join our highly reputable private healthcare provider in their beautiful hospital in West Essex. The hospital is easily accessible via public transport links and prides itself on the experience and care given by their staff. The hospital is ideally experienced Radiographer to join a leading, forward-thinking private hospital in their expanding hospital in West Essex. The hospital offers a range of services including specialist rehabilitation physiotherapy and outpatient diagnostic facilities including 39 beds, 24 consulting rooms, 6 treatment rooms and diagnostic centre (including MRI, CT, ultrasound and DEXA osteoporosis scans, antenatal and breast screening, and X-rays). This role consists of providing high quality diagnostic radiography services to our patients and referrers, organising and performing a full range of CT procedures.

About the role:

You will be working as a CT Radiographer and will be responsible for:

Undertaking general X-ray/Fluoroscopy examinations

Deliver a high standard of individualised patient care, being sensitive to patients needs for dignity and privacy

Lead the implementation of departmental action plans as a result of clinical audit and review

Carry out CT examinations to a high level of radiographic skill, through rotation of CT

Identify people's health needs by undertaking thorough assessments using clinical expertise and experience

Identity and discuss implication of imaging

Clearly talk through with patients how they can positively contribute to their treatment plan

Gather information on patient's needs within the overall context of their imaging and care requirements

Who we're looking for;

Be HCPC - your pin must not have any restrictions or conditions

Degree (BSc Honours in Radiography or DCR)

Eligibility to live and work in the UK

2 years relevant experience in CT Imaging - Knowledge of Radiation Regulation

Excellent communication skills

Highly motivated, flexible and ability to stay calm

Work well within a team or independently

Familiarity with a computerised patient information systems and PACS is desirable

Person Specification: All applicants must have a valid HCPC registration and Radiology degree and full eligibility to live and work in the UK. Previous post graduate imaging experience is essential for this position.
