Compass Associates are excited to be working on this unique opportunity within the world of Radiography. We are working alongside a Private Research Company, who are looking for skilled Radiographers to join their grown Imaging team.  

My client has over half a million UK participants who are involved in contributing to a large-scale biomedical and research database. They are a major contributor to the advancement of modern treatment and medicine, which has enabled several scientific discoveries that improve Human Health.

This imaging Centre in Bristol has 2 Machines, a Siemens Skyra 3T MRI Scanner completing Neuro Imaging which includes fMRI and a Siemens 1.5T Aera which enables cardiac and abdominal Imaging. Including this you will also complete Dexa bone density and Ultrasound scans of the carotid artery.

The Candidate

The successful candidate will be registered with the HCPC and you will have completed your BSc in General Radiography. My client welcomes candidates from all backgrounds, however experience within the NHS or Private Healthcare environment will be beneficial. MRI experience is desired but not essential, as my client prides itself on its thorough training and development platform.  

You will see c18 participants daily, so having experience of giving an outstanding experience whilst conducting scans, will be paramount to your success. The centre is open from Monday and Sunday, from 07:30am - 20:30pm. You will work 3 long days so a flexible and dynamic approach to support the service needs, will be vital for your application.  

You will be competent in IR(ME)R regulations, and have an eagerness to improve your own CPD. You will be knowledge of health and safety practices within radiography, ideally within MRI.  

Requirements

BSc in General Radiography

HCPC Registered

Flexible and dynamic approach

Be able to work 3 long days

MRI experience desired - however training will be given

This site is commutable from Bath, Gloucester, Cardiff, Newport, Cheltenham, Weston Super-mare, Shepton Mallet, Salisbury, Swindon and Taunton
