Spire Methley Park have an exciting opportunity for a Registered Nurse to join our Outpatient Department. The successful applicant will provide high quality evidence-based nursing care, in a clinic setting to facilitate smooth and efficient outpatient clinics.

Spire Methley Park Hospital situated in Methley in South Leeds, has recently completed a 7.6 million refurbishment, which included a new theatre equipped with cutting-edge technology enabling us to carry out complex surgery across a variety of clinical specialties. Further to this the hospital is due to complete a full refurbishment of all ward bedrooms in the New Year, which will enhance the experience for not only patients being care for but also for colleagues working in this environment At Spire Methley Park Hospital caring for our patients is at the heart of what we do. We provide expert medical care in our modern, well-equipped hospital for all of our patients.

Duties and responsibilities

To provide exemplary planned care for patients and assist in the management and organisation of care provision in a variety of hospital settings. To work directly alongside the Consultants. The Outpatient Nurse will Chaperone and assist Consultants during patient examinations and minor surgical procedures. You will be supporting within eye screening. You will be joining an already established team who have a great working environment and numerous training opportunities that will help you develop your potential.

Who we're looking for

• Be NMC registered - your pin should not have any restrictions or conditions
• Outpatient Services experience is desirable for this position but not essential
• Wound care experience is essential
• Additional skill such as phlebotomy, Urology and ECG's would be advantageous but training can be offered
• Excellent communication skills, along with being organised and can showcase excellent patient care
