Theatre Administrator

Spire London East Hospital are looking for an Administrator to provide Administrative support to our Theatre department. This role will involve working fulltime hours on a rota basis, flexible start and finish times.

Spire London East Hospital (formerly Spire Roding) is located in Redbridge, on the borders of East London and Essex. We offer comprehensive private hospital services, ranging from outpatient clinics and physiotherapy to surgery and diagnostic tests in a relaxed, clean and comfortable environment. The hospital has 24 inpatient beds and 16 day case rooms called 'pods'. Facilities include four operating theatres, an endoscopy suite, 2 extended recovery unit, pharmacy, x-ray, outpatient and diagnostic facilities.

Duties and responsibilities

Your tasks will include acting as first point of call for enquiries to the Theatre, transferring of patient booking details to the Theatre diaries, ensuring Consultant requests are acted upon in a timely manner and record data such as KPI's and utilisation. You will screen booking forms and ensure additional equipment is ordered when required. You will also be required to assist with relevant meetings and take minutes when required.

Who we're looking for

• You will need to have a strong Administration background
• Good computer literacy and highly organised
• Healthcare experience would be a benefit but not a necessity
• Great customer service and telephone manner
