About the role:

An exciting new opportunity has arisen for a passionate and experienced Endoscopy Theatre Practitioner / ODP to join a dynamic, experienced, and expanding team within a fantastic Private Hospital located in Kent. The hospital is ideally situated with easily accessible transport links. The hospital has an excellent opportunity for a Senior Scrub / Recovery Nurse with endoscopy experience to join our friendly team within their Endoscopy Theatre Department The team are passionate about person centred care and put their patients at the heart of everything they do and looking for a like-minded Scrub / Recovery Nurse / ODP to join them. The role will provide excellent care and require the post holder to participate and contribute to the management of the Endoscopy Unit. There are opportunities to further develop your Endoscopy skills through training and gaining experience within a leading private hospital. The Endoscopy Unit works closely with theatres and has a full range of modern equipment for use.

Duties and responsibilities

You will be working as an Endoscopy Theatre Practitioner and will be responsible for the following;

Assess patients' health and well-being across a complex and changing caseload

Assisting in the delivery of care to meet every individual patients needs

Providing the care provision within the Endoscopy Unit in the operating theatre department across a range of clinical specialities; scrub and recovery

Caring for patients undergoing endoscopic procedures

Provide and receive complex and sensitive information about patience needs and any associated risks.

Assessing, planning and delivering best practice at all times

Who we're looking for:Be NMC/ HCPC registered- your pin must not have any restrictions or conditions

Eligibility to live and work in the UK

Experience in clinical settings - endoscopy

At least 3 years working within Scrub / Recovery

Experience working in a busy environment under minimal supervision
