The successful post holder will have completed the Postgraduate Certificate (PGCert) in Low Intensity Psychological Interventions (Psychological Wellbeing Practitioners Training) for Improving Access to Psychological Therapies (IAPT). We welcome applications from people who are qualifying from the PWP course shortly. This vacancy is based within a Locality Team, however, you may also be required to provide input across the other areas of the Bradford, Airedale, Wharfedale and Craven district.

MyWellbeing IAPT Service is dedicated to clinical excellence, with all staff having access to our high-quality CPD programme All clinical staff receive regular clinical supervision in order to ensure opportunity to further develop. There are potential further development opportunities within this role. For example, to become a supervisor, to train and deliver other evidence-based treatment or become a 'champion' of a special interest area (such as perinatal mental health, LGBTQIA+ or cultural wellbeing), with restorative reflective spaces offered.

Qualifications
Essential criteria
  • Low Intensity IAPT Qualification


Desirable criteria
  • Teaching (clinical practice) qualification/certificate or equivalent experience.
  • Qualified psychological therapist


Experience
Essential criteria
  • Experience in relevant area of mental health practice.
  • Application of evidenced based psychological therapies relevant to the clinical service.


Desirable criteria
  • Involvement in innovative clinical practice.
  • Clinical leadership experience.


Knowledge
Essential criteria
  • Assessment, planning, formulation and evaluation of patient's psychological difficulties.
  • Evidenced based psychological therapies relevant to the clinical service.


Desirable criteria
  • Relevant specialist clinical courses/training.
  • Research awareness.


Skills
Essential criteria
  • Be able to meet the service needs for mobility across the geographical area covered.
