Band 6 MSK Physiotherapist - Private Clinic

Farnborough and/or Basingstoke

£32,000 to £39,000 per annum

Monday to Friday - 40 hours per week

Compass Associates are currently assisting in the search for a Band 6 MSK Physiotherapist to join our clients team of staff at a specialist clinic in either the Basingstoke or Farnborough areas.

Our client is committed to providing high quality outpatient physiotherapy services in comfortable clinic facilities. Their focus is on the physiotherapists continuing education and guarantee their physiotherapists understand and put into practice cutting-edge treatments and rehabilitation techniques available for all types of injuries and conditions.

The Candidate         

The ideal candidate will need to be a fully qualified Physiotherapist with a current registration to the HCPC and CSP. They will need to be an experienced Physiotherapist with knowledge of current issues in professional practice with particular relevance to the clinic. Candidates from both NHS or Private Hospital background will all be considered.

Requirements

-You hold Physiotherapy registration with the HCPC, CSP

-Must have minimum 3 years of experience working in MSK field in UK.

-Must have experience for assessment and treatment of muscular-skeletal conditions, sports injuries, orthopaedic conditions.

-Must have excellent "hands on" skills in mobilisation/manipulation techniques,

-Desirable to be able to provide Rehabilitation, acupuncture and Pilates.

-Experience in a private practice is beneficial

Duties

- To undertake comprehensive diagnoses of patients including those with a variety of simple to complex presentations.

- To deliver the service on a face-to-face assessment and treatment basis and, where necessary, refer onward.

- To participate in the delivery of a telephone based assessment and advice service, alongside clinic based work.

- To work as an autonomous practitioner utilising analytical skills to form an accurate diagnosis and inform patients of realistic rehabilitation prognosis and future prospects with respect to work, sport, function etc.

- To identify clinical problems and use clinical reasoning skills to establish patient-centred goals and draw up treatment plans utilising a wide range of treatment skills and options; seeking clinical guidance or second opinion as clinically indicated.

- To continually reassess and evaluate treatment outcomes to facilitate appropriate discharge or onward referral of patients.

- To keep up-to-date with clinical protocols, guidelines, pathways and new trends, developments and research for the benefit of clinical practice.
