Radiographer | Band 5 / 6 Depending on experience | Murrayfield | Full time

The Spire Murrayfield Hospital in Edinburgh has an exciting opportunity for a Radiographer who is eager to progress within the private sector, to join our fantastic imaging department.

Murrayfield hospital was established as a purpose built hospital in 1984, conveniently located in the west of Edinburgh. In 2015 our consulting rooms had a £1 million refurbishment. In 2010 we opened Shawfair Park Hospital, a day case facility, based in south east Edinburgh. Each of our hospitals practice some of the most advanced treatments supported by the latest generation imaging and diagnostic technology. This means we offer everything from screening and rehabilitation through to leading edge surgical procedures and cancer care.

Duties and responsibilities

• You will be part of a multi-disciplinary team focussing on plain-film radiography, Fluro and Theatre work. There are excellent training and development opportunities within this role to specialise in other areas
• The core house for this role are 8am to 8pm, Monday to Saturday so you must be available to work varied shifts within these timeframes
• Providing excellent one to one interaction with patients
• Obtaining information on patient's needs within the overall context of their imaging and care requirements
• Interpreting patient data using all of the relevant components to assist in making an accurate clinical diagnosis. Make this information available to appropriate colleagues

• Degree (BSc Honours in Radiography or equivalent qualification)
