An Amazing Health Care Technician position working for one of the UK`s leading ophthalmic hospitals based in Bristol.

Great working hours - 7.30 till 5.30 (4 days a week)

Salary up to £21,000

Key requirements for the post

• To deliver a high standard of quality to all patients. To be part of a muti disciplinary team,

working alongside consultants, RGN`s, Technicians, and optometrists.

• Prior experience working in an optical setting. Must have experience working both an OCT machine

And Field of View machine.

Role and Duties

• Adhere to the principles of clinical governance.
• Work alongside the optometrists in the day to day running of clinics carrying out the relevant diagnostics examinations.
• Assist in the running of pre and post-operative clinics for all patients.
• Act as theatre runner, escort in busy theatre environment.
• Be proficient in company database i.e medisoft
• Follow correct procedure for reporting any accidents or incidents.
• Prepare all areas prior to any clinical activities, ensuring all equipment is checked and ready for use.
• Ensure the correct storage of all equipment.
• Adhere to all policies and procedures.
• Assist with stock control, ensuring realistic par levels are maintained and all items are readily available.
• Manages all the diagnostic and theatre equipment on a daily basis.
• To ensure patient confidentiality at all times in accordance with GPDR
