Job Description

Salary and Benefits: Up to c£44,500 + Pension + Private Healthcare + Life Assurance + 25 days holiday (rising with service) + Bank Holidays + Free parking + much more!

In a recent survey to operating theatre professionals, we asked what does a good theatre leader look like to you? We received some consistent language, ‘patient first, listening, inspiring, encouraging, recognising, rewarding, investing and trusting’. If these words resonate with your beliefs and you feel that you have got what it takes to work alongside a Theatre Manager that encapsulates and drives these behaviours, keep reading…

Perhaps you want to work with a highly successful group who have an established network of hospitals throughout the UK. Maybe you would benefit from working with a supportive and visible senior management team who regularly seek feedback on how to improve services.

4 great things about this hospital:

• High levels of investment taking place – new equipment, advanced treatments being introduced - it’s an exciting time to be joining!

• This leading independent hospital has c40 beds, 4 theatres alongside outpatient and diagnostic facilities – they are proud to have a Good CQC rating.

• Excellent training and development opportunities, with a dedicated training team you can expect access to internal and external training to help you become a multi-disciplined Nurse specialist.

• Work with a passionate and supportive team and be part of a great working environment where achievements are recognised.

The Clinical Services Manager stated, ‘We are a friendly team who love to support each other. There is always someone available to help and support your learning’

What you will do as a Lead Theatre Practitioner (RGN/ODP):

• Work closely with the Theatre Manager to provide visible, clinical, and professional leadership to the theatre team promoting a positive and cohesive teamwork.

• You must have demonstrable scrub or anaesthetics experience. You will be responsible for providing day-to-day management within theatres, coordinating staff training needs and ensuring all necessary equipment is available and in working order.

• You must be NMC or HCPC registered with proven leadership experience within Scrub and/or Anaesthetics.
