Job Description

The role of the Recruitment Compliance Team Leader is to manage the team responsible for supporting and improving our pre-start candidate experience, ensuring each stage following interview confirmation is monitored and managed efficiently.

You will be reporting to the Recruitment Manager and you will have regular contact and interaction with candidates, hiring managers, regional managers and HR colleagues, in the course of carrying out their duties.

The Recruitment Compliance Team Leader has direct management responsibility for all Recruitment Administrators.

Key Responsibilities/Duties

The responsibilities and duties of the Recruitment Compliance Team Leader will be:-

Accountable for the effective internal recruitment process of care workers after offer stage, including carrying out recruitment compliance checks, preparing contracts of employment and liasing with relevant departments

Overseeing all stages of the pre-start candidate journey and therefore positively impacting the process from offer to start

Manage a centralised support team to support both the candidate and the operation at all stages of the pre-start offer process

Support the operations team to ensure they provide all documentation relating to the candidate offer

Maintaining accurate, complete and up to date employee records

Build relationships with recruiting managers and keep them informed of how new candidates are being processed

Build, monitor and maintain workable spreadsheets to track candidate progress

Practice and promote effective, timely communication both within and outside the company

Undertake 1-2-1's/coaching sessions with direct report, manage absence as well as ensuring their team are being appropriately trained to deliver to a high standard and meet deadlines

Maintaining departmental spreadsheets/databases so that information is kept up to date and is accurate, timely and reliable

Liaising effectively with the payroll departments as and when required

Essential requirements:-

Recent line management experience

Administrative Recruitment and Compliance processes, with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail

Ability to support and manage a team whilst also willing to be hands on and support management of high-volume administrative tasks, preferably across multiple locations

Customer service ambassador

Ability to organise own workload and to cope with a variety of task demands

Proficient with Microsoft Office word, powerpoint, outlook and excel)

Ability to build relationships and communicate effectively at all levels of the business

Positive and solution focused, with a can-do attitude

Organised/administrative skills

Customer focused

Confident, professional and personable

Flexible and adaptable

Desirable requirements:-

Knowledge of the care sector

An understanding of the regulatory framework surrounding the recruitment of staff in the care sector
