We are looking for an enthusiastic, motivated and highly skilled individual to join our Speech & Language Therapy Department as a Highly Specialist Speech and Language Therapist in Head and Neck Oncology/Voice.

To fulfil the role you will have experience of working at an advanced level in the assessment, differential diagnosis and management of communication and swallowing disorders in patients with complex Head and Neck Cancer and patients with acquired voice disorders.

You will need to be able to demonstrate excellent leadership, clinical and organisational skills, with good communication, flexibility and evidence of supervising other staff and students.

The postholder will join a highly supportive and innovative Speech and Language Therapy Head and Neck/Voice service.

Trust policy requires that the cost of submitting & processing the successful applicant/s DBS application be recovered via salary deduction following start in post. The amount of £26.85(standard disclosure) or £43.85 (enhanced disclosure) which will be deducted from salary, in the first 3 months of employment. If you wish to withdraw once a DBS application has commenced you will be still liable for payment.
