We have an exciting opportunity for a 18 month secondment for a motivated individual, who is a team player, flexible, and able to demonstrate professionalism, excellent organisational and communication skills.

You must be registered with the GeneralPharmaceuticalCouncil and have post qualification or experience in leadership and management.You must be able to work accurately, quickly and under pressure, have a good eye for detail, be able to prioritise your workload to meet deadlines and be committed to deliver a high standard patient focused service.

Based at Wythenshawe, the Pharmacy Department currently has an extensive team, working innovatively to provide services to the patients. You will be working within the technical team leading a team of pharmacy technicians and pharmacy assistants who deliver technical services to the wards, clinics and dispensary. You will be involved in all aspects of staff management including HR, education & training, induction, recruitment, and appraisals. You will have opportunity to lead and develop services in clinical areas.

You will contribute to our ethos of providing a positive, forward thinking and professional working environment in which staff work with each other and for each other. As a valued member of the team you will be supported to develop your management and leadership skills and knowledge of specialist clinical and technical services.

Trust policy requires that the cost of submitting & processing the successful applicant/s DBS application be recovered via salary deduction following start in post. The amount of £26.85(standard disclosure) or £43.85 (enhanced disclosure) which will be deducted from salary, in the first 3 months of employment. If you wish to withdraw once a DBS application has commenced you will be still liable for payment.
