Dietitian – Eating Disorder.  

30 hours – permanent, FT can be considered.  

£34K - £38K + benefits  

Chelsea, London

 

Overview

 

Compass Associates are proud to be supporting a provider of specialist eating disorders’ services with their search for an experienced Dietitian to join their service in Chelsea. You will join the team of a family-owned company whose aim is to be the best in eating disorders and CAMHS for the UK Healthcare market.

As a part of Multidisciplinary Team, you will work in clean and modern facilities nestled in a discreet location in the heart of Chelsea, with 6 consulting rooms, 3 group therapy rooms, a large patient lounge, a relaxation area and a fully fitted, modern training kitchen to help rehabilitate patients with eating disorders.

 

Responsibilities

 

- To provide a specialist dietetic service to inpatients at the Clinic.  

- Act as a source of expertise on the dietary management of eating disorders to the multi-disciplinary team, community health professionals and others involved in the care of our patients

- Provide specialist advice to patients with eating disorders, promoting healthy lifestyle and good nutrition for all patient groups.  

- Undertake comprehensive assessments of individual patient’s diets and lifestyle to formulate individualised management and treatment plans ensuring optimal outcomes whilst minimising risk.

- Assessment will include interpretation of anthropometric, biochemical, and clinical indicators, weight history and dietary analysis.

 

Requirements  

 

- BSc Nutrition and Dietetics or BSc in relevant science plus post-graduate diploma in dietetics

- Registered Dietitian with Health Professions Council

- Knowledge of current best practice in eating disorders.

- Previous dietetic experience
