Job Description

Receptionist | Administration team | Solihull | Part time contracts

Spire Parkway Hospital are hiring a Receptionist to ensure the team provide a high standard of customer service to all patients, consultants, NHS partners, staff and visitors by working on one of Parkways receptions. To be an advocate of excellent customer care whilst working as a team. To make a positive difference to our patients lives through outstanding personalised care.

We are open to hiring one person on a full time basis or two people on a part time basis so if you're only able to work part time please do apply and you will be considered. Take into consideration that this is on a Rota basis - hours between 6.30am and 9pm at night. It is also working across the full 7 days.

We have Three vacancies for 30 hours per week and one 22.5 hour contract available.

Spire Parkway Hospital in Solihull, West Midlands offers a comprehensive range of private hospital services. Our hospital is rated Good by the CQC for all parts of the inspection except for Patient Care, which is rated Outstanding. The report states, "Staff treated patients with compassion and kindness, respected their privacy and dignity, took account of their individual needs, and helped them understand their conditions. They provided emotional support to patients, families and carers."

Duties and responsibilities:
  • To be a dynamic multi-skilled front of house receptionist with a strong customer service focus
  • To ensure patient calls are answered in a timely manner delivering high standards of customer service at all times
  • To complete daily tasks to a high standard alongside the basic requirements as a receptionist
  • To ensure you are checking all patient data on arrival to the hospital and that all missing data is collected
  • To ensure GDPR (data protection) guidance is adhered to at all times

Who we're looking for:
  • Previous relevant experience in an receptionist role (Desirable)
  • Telephony Skills
  • Excellent Verbal and written skills
  • Being able to work to deadlines and timeframes
  • Experience of working in a hospital environment is advantageous
