Job Description

Manchester Local Care Organisation have an exciting opportunity for an Band 6 Occupational Therapist to join Community Rehabilitation Team.

The successful candidate will be part of a highly experience and dedicated Team of physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists and Rehab Support workers. The service cares for patients in their own home and provides goal centre treatment for patients with a variety of conditions e.g Frailty, orthopaedics, MSK, falls and amputees. They will be enthusiastic and have a passion for delivering high quality services to the population of North Manchester with a key focus on rehabilitation.

The service puts a focus on service and staff development and the successful candidate should expect a variety of learning opportunities presented to them with the additional option to work closely with other rehabilitation teams.

The Community Rehab Service operates Monday- Friday, 8:30-16:30. The successful candidate must hold a full UK driving licence and access to their own vehicle.

Trust policy requires that the cost of submitting & processing the successful applicant/s DBS application be recovered via salary deduction following start in post. The amount of £26.85(standard disclosure) or £43.85 (enhanced disclosure) which will be deducted from salary, in the first 3 months of employment. If you wish to withdraw once a DBS application has commenced you will be still liable for payment.
