Job Description

Main duties of the job

The role of the occupational therapist in the team would consist of two parts. One would be to carry a small caseload of service users as an Intervention Worker. The other half of the role would be to support the service in embedding the principles of occupational therapy theory and practice into the service model, the case conceptualisation, and how the service is delivered. To plan, develop and evaluate Occupational Therapy services provided with the IIRMS team. In addition, the role would also require the provision of evidence based Occupational Therapy directly with people on the caseload who may require it, and to use service user centred principles to assess, plan, implement and evaluate interventions with people with personality disorders known to the IIRMS team.
