Specialist Pharmacist - Aseptic Services Band 7

We are also the lead provider for a significant number of specialised services including Breast Care, Vascular, Cardiac, Respiratory, Urology, Cancer, Pediatrics, Women's Services, Ophthalmology and Genomic Medicine.

An opportunity has arisen for an exceptional pharmacist to join the MFT Pharmacy Aseptic Services Team, providing high quality Aseptic Services to patients across MFT. The post holder will be based at Oxford Road Campus working in an Aseptic Services unit with 11 clean rooms, which provides Neonatal, Paediatric & Adult PN, Paediatric and Adult Chemotherapy, CIVA, Clinical Trials and Advanced Therapy Medicinal Products. You may also provide support at the other Aseptic Units in the Trust.

The ideal candidate would be ambitious, self- motivated and committed Pharmacist with excellent technical and communication skills.

Your role will include formulation and release of products from the Unit. You will work alongside other healthcare professionals to provide treatment for patients with complex needs. You will assist in the development of the aseptic service at MFT. You will be actively involved in the training of junior pharmacists in the unit. You will ensure documentation as part of the quality system is regularly reviewed and updated.

As a valued member of the Pharmacy team you will be encouraged to develop your management skills and maximise your potential ensuring continuous development and knowledge of Pharmacy Aseptic Services.
