Job Description

Detailed job description and main responsibilities

Welcome, meet and greet service users, carers, relatives or visitors, alerting healthcare professional.

Update attendance records and ensuring visitors book is signed, check ID for secure areas as per KMPT policy, check contact details up to date.
Monitor waiting visitors/clients ensuring they are attended to by the most appropriate member of staff in a timely manner and apologise on behalf of staff members when a delay in being seen in likely to arise be alert to
obvious changes in behaviour that might require more urgent assistance.
Issuing of mobile phone and personal safety alarms eg in secure areas, daily checking alarms are in working order and arranging for repairs as appropriate. Making room bookings for appointments and meetings and issuing/signing out keys or mobile phones as appropriate.

KMPT is committed to supporting all new staff and this includes a comprehensive Induction programme. The duration of the programme is dependent on role and can be from 2 days to 4 weeks (not always consecutive days).
