Job Description

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a friendly and proactive individual to join our Surgery Scheduling team atManchester Royal Infirmary, on an 18 month secondment, to help deliver our inpatient service.

This person will be responsible for the day to day management and full utilisation of all theatre lists, working closely with the secretarial, clinical and management teams ensuring that all targets are adhered to and met.

You will need to demonstrate good communication, organisation and prioritisation skills and be able to work on your own initiative under minimal supervision.

You will need to be a team player who will be able to show a tactful and sensitive role to the job as well as being showing a calm head under pressure. A knowledge of ORMIS is essential.

Trust policy requires that the cost of submitting & processing the successful applicant/s DBS application be recovered via salary deduction following start in post. The amount of £29.50(standard disclosure) or £47.50 (enhanced disclosure) which will be deducted from salary, in the first 3 months of employment. If you wish to withdraw once a DBS application has commenced you will be still liable for payment.
