Meet and greet welcoming visitors and service users in courteous /prompt manner. Check contact details up to date Liaises with internal and external stakeholders on behalf of line manager, colleague or team member including GPs for missing information. Answer calls and enquiries from service users or carers, prioritising urgency and referring to most appropriate person. Ensure KMPT standards are adhered to in terms of all communications and timescales when answering the phone, the message to the caller and promptly redirecting where appropriate. May scrutinise email in box, determines urgency and importance and highlights where necessary to manager. Keep duty white board up to date

Person specificationQualificationsEssential criteria

  • GCSE or equivilant Maths English A to C Grade

SkillsEssential criteria
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Outlook
  • Advanced knowledge of Mircrosoft Word
  • Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Excel

ExperienceEssential criteria
  • Administration experience
  • Customer Service/facing experience

Desirable criteria
  • PA experience

KMPT is committed to supporting all new staff and this includes a comprehensive Induction programme. The duration of the programme is dependent on role and can be from 2 days to 4 weeks (not always consecutive days).
The Induction programme will provide an excellent opportunity for new staff to meet and engage with KMPT's subject specialists and will include the essential training required.
The programme may involve some travel to the various training venues across Kent and Medway, the main ones being Canterbury, Maidstone and Dartford.
