To provide an efficient and effective clerical and administrative support service to DGSCMHSOP based in Dartford in accordance with Trust policies and procedures.

To communicate with staff, managers and clients, both written and verbally in a professional, sensitive and courteous manner, maintaining confidentiality at all times.

RESPONSIBILITY:

To efficiently undertake basic administration and clerical duties which may include the following duties as directed:

  • Data input, data extraction, photocopying, faxing, filing and typing duties as directed
  • To deal with internal and external post and emails on a day to day basis
  • To support the team to maintain accurate, timely and legible records
  • To answer/deal with queries, both face to face and via the telephone, take messages and pass them on to the relevant member of staff in an appropriate and timely manner.




Person specificationQualificationsEssential criteria

  • Maths and English Language GCSE or equivalent

Desirable criteria
  • Maths and English Language GCSE Grade C or above or equivalent


ExperienceEssential criteria
  • Microsoft Office Experience

Desirable criteria
  • I.T. qualification

Induction.
KMPT is committed to supporting all new staff and this includes a comprehensive Induction programme. The duration of the programme is dependent on role and can be from 2 days to 4 weeks (not always consecutive days).
