Ophthalmic Theatre Team Lead – Ophthalmic Hospital          

£42,000-£47,000 plus Bonus Scheme, Private Medical Insurance, Pension, Life Assurance, High Street Discounts & More

Compass Associates are proud to be working in partnership with the UK's most trusted Eye Care specialist, who are currently in the search for an experienced Theatre Team Lead to join their team. This opening is based at their state-of-the-art day case Hospital in Central London, which will involve working with world class technology to provide impeccable patient care.

The Candidate          

This is an extremely exciting opportunity for an experienced Ophthalmic Scrub Nurse, with previous management or senior experience, to actively lead and manage a small clinical team. You will be responsible for the efficient running of the theatres, implementing measures to improve procedures in house and maintain CQC standards of practice. Additionally, you will be a key member of the operating theatre team, providing assistance in surgeries such as Cataracts, Glaucoma, Refractive and Retinal Surgery.          

      

We are looking for someone who is a natural leader, has excellent communication skills that is looking for their next challenge within theatres. This is a full-time role consisting of 37.5 hours per week worked across 4 days between Monday-Friday.      

    

Ideally you will have previous experience in working in theatre in ophthalmology, however this is not an essential requirement. You will have a great chance to progress with professional development and expand your knowledge within the Ophthalmic specialism.    

 

Requirements        

- RGN or ODP    

- NMC or HCPC Registration       

- Ophthalmic scrub experience is desired       

- Passion for high quality patient safety and care       

- Awareness of CQC, policies and procedures       

- Excellent communication skills       

- Positive attitude       

- Ability to work as a part of a team           

           

Summary          

We are seeking an experienced Ophthalmic Theatre Team Lead to their team in Surrey.
