Our community healthcare teams inadults andchildren's servicesare employed by Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust and deployed to us, linking closely with our colleagues in Manchester Local Care Organisation. Our teams work as one and together we will make a positive difference to the health of people in Trafford.

Service/Department Summary:

The Integrated MSK service in Trafford includes Physiotherapy, Podiatry, Pain management, Specialist Orthopaedic and Rheumatology teams. Within the Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy team we treat a wide range of musculoskeletal conditions, with the majority of referrals being received from Trafford GP's, along with some Orthopaedic referrals. The service operates from 2 main bases at Altrincham Hospital and Trafford General Hospital, and offers extended hours which include evenings and rotational Saturday mornings.

Currently our service offers a mixture of face to face and virtual assessments and treatments in line with the Covid response.

Role Summary

An opportunity has arisen for experienced and well-motivated physiotherapists to join our team. This role will enable physiotherapists with a keen interest in MSK to progress their career. The role will involve the assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of patients presenting with a variety of musculoskeletal conditions. The successful candidates will be expected to deliver a high standard of clinical care and possess excellent communication and organisational skills.

There will also be opportunities to be involved in service development. Support will be provided via clinical supervision, regular in-service training and the appraisal system.
The post-holder may be based at either site dependant on service need. Exact hours and site of work will be confirmed on appointment.
