The Candidate

In the position, you will participate in all aspects of the Ophthalmic service at the private Hospital.  As part of a multi discipline team with an emphasis on quality patient care, they will ensure a comprehensive level of care provision to all ophthalmic patients, their relatives or carers, across clinical and some administrative disciplines.        

This will include setting up consultation/ exam rooms, carrying out testing and diagnostic procedures and being trained to assist in theatres. You will be provided with all the support and training needed to thrive in your career.

Requirements

Background as an optical assistant / healthcare technician

Previous experience within eye diagnostics / eye care

NVQ level 2 or 3 in Healthcare ideal (not essential)

Passion for high quality patient safety and care    

Problem solving and analytical skills    

Excellent communication skills    

Positive attitude    

IT skills

Location                                

Hendon, North London, commutable from Watford, Harrow, Wembley, Edgware and Greater London. Free Parking, or easily accessible using the Northern Line
