Athona is currently recruiting for a full time CAMHS Consultant on a substantive basis. This position will be working within a private hospital in London on a 12 bedded CAMHS ward plus on call work. The proposed start date is as soon as possible but 3 months' notice will also be feasible.

To be eligible for this role we are looking for someone with;

• A GMC license on the specialist register
• Approved clinician and section 12 approval

The role involves...

• The postholder will provide consultant input for NHS CAMHS psychiatry patients within the hospital.
• The postholder will take part in the on-call rota of the hospital and provide cross cover for colleagues as required.
• The postholder will take part in relevant clinical governance activities and take on roles as appropriate in the management of the hospital.
• The postholder will use carenotes as the primary record.
• The postholder will have a prescribed connection with Priory for revalidation.
• The postholder will have an agreed job plan with the Medical Director/Hospital Director specifying the expected activity levels in terms of the number of clinical and other sessions.
