Regional Clinical/Forensic Psychologist - Transforming Care

Compass Associates are proud to be working with a large provider of housing, health and social care support services to recruit a Regional Psychologist for their new Transforming Care Team.

This is a newly created role, due to company expansion, where you will visit people in their own homes, supported living services or specialist transition services and carry out psychological assessments, formulate therapy plans and deliver interventions. This is a varied client group of adults aged 18+ who have complex support needs including mental health conditions, autism, learning disabilities, communication differences, forensic histories, personality disorders or physical health conditions. Although home-based, your main clinical base will be the new women's trauma service in Leeds for females transitioning between secure/locked services and their own homes in the community.

In addition to your clinical work, you will be instrumental in delivering staff training, upskilling care staff and working with the Clinical Lead to develop current and new services, therapeutic provisions, interventions and practices. You will receive clinical supervision from the Clinical Lead Psychologist as well as working within a wider team which includes Registered Managers, Psychologists, PBS Practitioners, Occupational Therapists, Nurses and Support Workers.

This is an exciting opportunity for a Clinical or Forensic Psychologist who has a strong clinical background and would like a new challenge where they could help to shape, develop and ensure high quality psychological practices, interventions and provisions. This is a full time permanent role (based from home and with flexi time) which will include being involved in the clinical “on-call” rota where you will provide telephone advice for non-clinical staff on site.

Candidate

The successful candidate must have:

HCPC registration as a Clinical or Forensic Psychologist

Experience working with adults with a range of conditions, backgrounds and complex needs

Experience supervising juniors and delivering training

UK driving licence and own car
