Compass Associates are working with a well-established service that provides short-term and long-term solutions, assistance and help for the NHS.

The Candidate

To provide a highly specialist assessment service for children and young people when investigating a diagnosis of an autistic spectrum disorder.  The post will require working in partnership with parents/carers, and the multi-disciplinary team and other agencies.

Responsibilities

Well established knowledge of assessment tools relevant to children and young people with social communication difficulties.

Post graduate training so that the therapist is competent to administer highly specialised assessments such as the ADOS or 3Di

Experience working with children with complex social communication difficulties and ASD.

Experience of developing relationships with staff from other agencies/organisations and management teams

Experience in developing communication policies and practices

Work Pattern

Monday to Friday 22 - 37 hours depending on part time/full time hours.

Location

Harlow - Essex. Commutable from Enfield, Brentwood, Chelmsford and Stevenage.

Salary

The salary of up to £44,000.
